eNews – Join Us at the KGPC Town Hall on Tuesday

We need to fill the room at our 2023 Town Hall to show that OUR community is still firmly opposed to ClubLink’s development plans.  Please make time to come out in person.  Now is the time to show up and be heard!

We’ll update you on the next steps of our current legal battle and answer your questions.  Mayor Mark Sutcliffe and Coun. Cathy Curry will be there to discuss the City’s strategy and hear from you.

As mentioned in our last e-news, the City and the KGPC agree that Justice Labrosse’s ruling must be appealed.  The KGPC plans to pursue the important issue of severance while the City is focusing on errors of law.  If you’re unclear what those legal arguments are, I guarantee you’re not alone.  We’ll explain and help you make sense of the legalese.

So, come out on November 28th to the Mlacak Centre.  It’s Giving Tuesday!  While we know there are many worthwhile causes looking for your help at this time of year, it’s critical that we have funds to keep up OUR fight.  We’ll be accepting donations by cash, cheque, e-transfer and credit card.
